Artist Bio

With a superb talent for “leaking” the latest and greatest music, the LA Leakers have been on the scene since 2008, sharing new music with the masses. But it’s not just leaking music these guys have to offer – as multitalented artists, the Leakers are making a name for themselves in the DJ world and taking the producing world by storm.

From a young age, Justin Credible and Sourmilk have had a passion for music. Justin began DJing at the age of 16 at local house parties and school functions. He quickly fell in love with hip-hop and became enthusiastic about DJing. After high school, Justin was hired at XHTZ/ Jammin Z90 in San Diego. He hosted the weekend radio show and began DJing at clubs around the city. One year later, Justin landed his dream radio job at LA’s Power 106.

Sourmilk found himself in a similar situation when he started making “mixtapes” by recording from tape deck to tape deck in his early teens. His parents bought him his first pair of turntables for his 15th birthday. From then on, Sourmilk kept his fingertips to the vinyl, putting in the hard work that would quickly elevate him to mixing on Power 106 in 2006, and shortly after with XM and Sirius Satellite radio.

In 2008, Justin and Sourmilk produced and released their first mixtape, with help and co-producing from renowned hip-hop artist, Nas. It wasn’t long before Justin and Sourmilk found that their passions were aligned and their undeniable chemistry was something to keep exploring. Formally naming themselves, the LA Leakers in 2009, this dynamic duo went on to work on projects with the likes of Common, The Clipse, Cypress Hill and many others. In 2014, their mixtape “Draft Picks” featuring exclusive records from a range of artists racked up over 450,000 hits.

Both Justin and Sourmilk are part of the Power 106 Mixer family. Justin mixes every night from 7pm-10pm on the Liftoff and Wednesdays at 2pm on The New At 2. The guys also contribute to Eminem’s Shade 45 uncut hip-hop channel on Sirius XM satellite radio. Their show, #UHEARME, features weekly interviews and new music form hip-hop’s hottest artists.

Around LA and Vegas, LA Leakers’ name is synonymous with party beats and crowd thrilling bass lines. Justin and Sourmilk, both as individual artists and as a duo, have residencies at some of the hottest nightclubs in Las Vegas, including Drai’s, Tao, Hakkasan and Omnia, and in LA at Playhouse and Supperclub. You can catch the guys regularly performing alongside some of the music industry’s heaviest hitters, including Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Jay-Z and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They’ve also recently broken into the festival world, with performances at HARD Summer 2015 and HARD Day of the Dead on Halloween weekend of 2015.

But they aren’t stopping yet. The Leakers are continuously producing new music, including their most recent singles, “Pull Up” featuring Kid Ink, Sage the Gemini and Iamsu, and “Ball Like This” with Future, Kid Ink and Wiz Khalifa. Due out in 2016, Justin and Sourmilk are working on their first full-length album that will be chopped full of eclectic blending of musical styles and diverse sounds. Keep an eye on these guys, because the LA Leakers are only getting bigger and better.
