SKAM's own LIL JONreturned to television this past Sunday as the hit show Celebrity Apprentice made it's 2013 premiere on NBC. His last appearance garnered praise from viewers and the Donald himself, so his return was a no brainer. Jon did have his doubts about returning but ultimately decided to give it a go and help raise funds for the American Diabetes Association, a cause near and dear to his heart.
Picked to be a part of past winner Bret Michael's crew, each team was assigned the task of making meatballs at a meatball shop, and attempting to raise the most money selling their meatballs. The celebrity contestants then brought their team's signature meatball to "Live With Kelly and Michael" where Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan chose who made the better meatball. That team then got a cash bonus added to their total. The team that made the most money won the challenge, and all the money earned goes to the charity of the winning team's project manager. Unfortunately Jon's team lost but he was saved from elimination and team captain Bret Michaels was sent packing. Donald did let the teams know they raised more money than has ever been raised on the first episode of a "Celebrity Apprentice" season. If the first episode was any indication of what's to come this season, we are in for an entertaining couple of months. Lil Jon's booming personality and charm will be reason enough to tune in. Check him and the rest of the cast out every Sunday night on NBC!
