Frankie J, the award winning singer/songwriter from San Diego debuted his newest single this week. 'Tienes que creer en mi' is the lead track off of his forthcoming album, the first under the Universal Music Latino Label.
Armando Avila, the well known Mexican producer is credited for writing and producing the song, which is available for digital download here in the U.S. as well as Mexico. About the album, Universal managing director Luis Estrada says, "He'll display a more pop-leaning vein that will surprise his fans and open new markets." He also states that Frankie J either wrote or co-wrote most of the tracks on the new project.

The bi-lingual, multi-platinum winning artist has made a name for himself since his introduction to mainstream radio in 2003 with "What's a Man to Do". His follow up in "The One" in 2005 reached No. 2 on the Billboard top 200 and spawned the hit singles "How to Deal and "More Than Words". His track "Obsession (No es Amor)" was a spanglish hit amongst his English and Spanish speaking fans.
You can expect the album to be released sometime this year and you can see Frankie J. debut his new single live at the ninth annual 'Premios Juventud' awards July 19 from the Bank United Center in Miami, FL.
